Annette Lowder

Jewel Annette Lowder, age 70 of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Greensboro. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5 at First Lutheran Church, Albemarle at 5:00 PM, officiated by Rev. John Futterer. Burial will be at a later date at Fairview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Ms. Lowder was born in Stanly County on July 24, 1942, to the late Greene Marvin Lowder and the late Agnes Mallie Russell Lowder. She is survived by one niece, Marcie Lowder of Thomasville; one nephew, Gareth Lowder, Jr. (Barbara) of Winston Salem; one aunt, Lula Russell Eury of Concord; one great niece; two great nephews; four great great nephews; two great great nieces; and one great great great niece. Ms. Lowder taught school in the Stanly County Schools for 29 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
