Annie Hartis

Ann (Mills) Hartis, 88, of Stanfield, NC went to be with Jesus on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Ann was born November 17, 1934 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late C.N. "Jay" Mills and the late Louise (Ruppe) Mills.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cliff "Zeb" Hartis; and baby brother, Paul Mills.

Survivors include daughter, Marci Hanline and husband Mike of Gastonia, NC; daughter, Linda Garmon and husband Dennis of Stanfield, NC; daughter, Donna Peele and husband John of Leland, NC; as well as many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and cherished friends and extended family.

Ann was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC.  She worked several clerical jobs over the years for various local companies.  Her greatest joy in life was dancing and playing Rummy with friends and family.  Ann was a passionate member of Gleaning Mission Church in Oakboro, NC.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

A celebration of life service to honor Ann's life will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2023 at 11:00AM at Gleaning Mission Church, 21413 E. 8th St., Oakboro, NC 28129

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Stanly County; or the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry.
