Annie Mae Barringer Huneycutt, 88 years of age, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Annie Mae was born October 10, 1925 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Titus Ezekiel Barringer and Carrie Mae Parker Barringer .
She was also preceded in death by husband, Ellis Daniel Huneycutt, five sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Bethel Bear Creek United Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Bethel Bear Creek United Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant officiated by Rev. Terri Barringer . Burial will follow the funeral service in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Robin Wyatt (Mark) of Concord, Marie Casperson (Richard) of Snoqualmie, WA; sons, Wayne Huneycutt (Becky) of Mt. Pleasant, Larry Huneycutt (Bonnie) of Mt. Pleasant, Rick Huneycutt (Sherry) of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Zeb Barringer of Trinity, NC; five grandchildren Scotty Huneycutt, Stacy Crowe, Jamey Kiblinger, Cory Huneycutt, and Lindsey Huneycutt. Seven great grandchildren Grayson Huneycutt, Easton Huneycutt, Sierra Crowe, Bryce Crowe, Grayce Crowe, Hayle Kiblinger, and Cole Kiblinger.

Annie Mae was a longtime member of Bethel Bear Creek Church and was known as the neighborhood seamstress and quilter. She was an avid gardener of plants and flowers.
