Annie Jeanette Howard Little, 80, of Sebastian, FL passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Jeanette was born March 18, 1936 in Albemarle, NC to the late Lonnie Baxter Howard, Sr. and the late Ida Belle Barbee Howard. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, T. Gene Little in 2009; and her brother, Lonnie Baxter "Sonny" Howard, Jr..
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Dr. J.F. Howard, Sr. and Rev. John Howard, Jr. The burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.
She is survived by her son, Dr.J. F. Howard, Sr. and wife Kari of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, John Howard of Spruce Pine, NC, Graham and Philip Howard, both of Winston-Salem, NC, Josiah Howard of High Point, NC; and sister Ruby Evelyn Howard of Sebastian, FL.
Jeanette was a graduate of Albemarle High School and Charlotte Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse, whose career extended over 50 years.
