Annie Mauldin

Annie Louise Furr Mauldin, age 87 of Albemarle passed away on October 10, 2010 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle. Born in Stanly County on January 24, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Levi E. and Eliza Jane Poplin Furr. Louise Mauldin was preceded in in death by her husband, George Truett Maudlin who died in 2005. Visitation for Mrs. Mauldin will be Wednesday, Oct 13, 2010 from 12:30 – 2 p.m. at South Albemarle Baptist Church. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at South Albemarle Baptist Church, burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory. Rev. Jessie Dennis and Rev. Danny Laws officiating. Annie Louise Mauldin is survived by daughters, Diane Collie and Lynn Forrest of Albemarle, son, David Mauldin of Gold Hill, NC and daughter Deborah Huneycutt of Albemarle NC, and two sisters; Mildred Cagle of New London and Peggy Herrin of Oakboro, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle or South Albemarle Baptist Church, 1005 S, 2nd Street, Albemarle, NC 28001
