Annie Mills

Annie Roberta Mills, 79, of 4807 Hwy. 200, Stanfield, NC 28163, passed away on April 2, 2010 at home. Born in Stanly County on August 15, 1930, Annie Roberta Mills was preceded in death by her mother, Bellzora Furr, her spouse Clifford Mills, and her father Claude Washington Furr. She retired from Cannon Mills after 38 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Stanfield. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church, Stanfield. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010, at 4:00 PM at the church with Rev. Dwight Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Annie Roberta Mills is survived by her sisters: Coral Yow and husband Charlie of Stanfield NC, and Hazel Morton of Stanfield NC; her niece Anita Haywood and husband Skip of Stanfield NC, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family meeting place will be at the home of Anita Haywood, 101 W. Raleigh St., Stanfield, NC 28163.
