Annie Porter

Annie Lou Payne Porter, 87, of 5812 Hwy 601 South Concord passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. She was born December 13, 1923 in Bryson City, North Carolina to the late Floyd Jetter and Mary Elizabeth Manor Payne. She was also preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Sanford Porter, daughter Betty Sue Frye and son Earl Junior Ramsey. Mrs. Porter retired from Cannon Mills Plant #15. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Tuesday, September 20th from 12:30 until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel, with Rev. Everette Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. She is survived by sons, Wade Ramsey and wife Betty, John Ramsey and wife Lisa , Clifford Ramsey and wife Trina; daughter, Diane Hoggard and husband Ray; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren.
