Anthony Grubbs

Anthony “Andy” Dwight Grubbs, age 37, of Badin, passed away on December 26, 2011. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Thursday, December 29 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Mr. Grubbs was born in Stanly County, on March 2, 1974, to Donald Patterson Grubbs of Charlotte and Laura Elizabeth Craven Barnes of Badin. He is survived by his daughter, Matayah; partner, Tammy Swink; brothers, Charles Grubbs of Albemarle, Wesley Grubbs and Bill Grubbs, both of Badin; paternal grandmother, Louise Cress Grubbs of Charlotte and step father, Thomas Jefferson Barnes of Badin. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Grubbs family.
