Archable Williams

Archable Raphael “Ray” Williams, 75, of Cabarrus County, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Williams was born December 28, 1937, in Lancaster, SC to Edith Helms and the late Archy Rafe Williams. Mr. Williams was owner and operator of Williams Forest Products and built log homes in the area. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Jason Pratt and Rev. Franklin Washington. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Greene Williams of the home in Locust; his mother, Edith Helms of Locust; his son, Rodney Williams and wife, Stephanie, of North Myrtle Beach; his grandchild, Kaitlyn Williams; and his sister, Willie Rose Williams, of Locust, NC.
