Archie Freeman

Archie Monroe Freeman, age 79, of Concord, N.C., died Friday, August 7, 2009, at his home - 8672 Lower Rocky River Rd. in Concord, N.C. Freeman was self-employed and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist. He was the son of the late Brandon William Freeman and the late Helen (Joyner) Freeman. He is survived by his three daughters, Diana F. Deese of Monroe, Vickie F. Lisenby of China Grove, and Jane F. McLain of Raleigh; two sons, Archie M. Freeman, Jr. and Gary Freeman, both of Raleigh; sister, Helen Jones of Florida; brother-Brandon "Buddy" Freeman of Concord; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland, PO Box 100, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Funeral service will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 11000 Reed Mine Road, Concord at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2009, Rev. Ray Rippy officiating. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, N.C.
