Arlene Nix

Arlene Renea Nix, 65, of Charlotte, passed away on March 17, 2021 at her home in Charlotte, NC.

She was born on August 13, 1955 to Arlen and Cora “Cora Belle” Drye in Charlotte, NC.

Arlene worked in banking for over 30 years, starting with First Union National Bank in 1978 and ending her career as a Director at Babson Capital Mgmt. She thoroughly enjoyed her work and the friends she made during that time.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Randy, mother Cora Belle, sister Vicki Hughes, brother Martin Drye, doggies Stella and Olivia, as well as many many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arlen Drye; stepfather, Richard “Dick” Leonard.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Harrisburg, NC.
