Arnold Lowder, Jr

Arnold "Arnie" Edward Lowder, Jr. , age 51, of Concord, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at home following complications from heart surgery. Arnie was born June 23, 1962 to Barbara Gibson of Concord and the late Arnold Edward Lowder Sr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The celebration of life service will be on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Chapel officiated by Rev. George W. McCullough. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Lowder of Concord; a sister, Pennie Lowder Newell of Concord; many loving aunts, uncles. cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Lowder was an active member of the Charlotte Moose Lodge, which he loved dearly. In addition he was an avid APA pool player. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his wife Nancy, of 25 years and his Doxies... Jay, Molli and Charlie. In lieu of flowers Nancy asked that memorial be made to Charlotte Moose Lodge 3651 Small Ave. Charlotte, NC 28269. The family will be gathering with family and friends following the celebration of life service at his mother Barbara's home in Concord. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Lowder family.
