Arthur James Eberhardt, 90, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.
Mr. Eberhardt was born February 11, 1934, in Buffalo, New York to the late Joseph Eberhardt and the late Eleanor Gerspach Eberhardt.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Eberhardt.
Arthur was loved by his family and friends. He recently celebrated 65 years of marriage with his wife Marlene. He was retired after 29 years of service from IBM as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree. He had been very active in parish activities and the Knights of Columbus winning several awards of service recognition prior to becoming ill. He was an avid beach lover and lived in Florida for many years.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm, October 3, 2024, at St. James The Greater Catholic Church, 139 Manor Avenue S.W. Concord, NC 28025.The funeral mass will follow at 1:30 pm and will be officiated by Father Luyen Dau. Burial will follow at the St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery at 2323 Gold Hill Rd., Concord.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene; daughters, Madonna (Marty) Warwick of Indian Trail, NC, Regina (Charles) Morris of Farmville, NC, and Maria (J.R.) Stubbins of Farmville, NC; five grandchildren, Josh Warwick (Judy), Deena Pardon (Will), Bryan Morris, J.C. Stubbins (Kaylah), and Zackary Stubbins. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Alexander Warwick, Austin Warwick, and Bea Pardon.
The family would like to recognize Shyricka Randolph, his beloved caregiver, for her kindness, support and care.
Memorials may be made to The Knights of Columbus at St. James The Greater Catholic Church.
