Arthur Rich

Arthur Lanier Rich, 83, of China Grove, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Rich was born March 31, 1930 in Georgia to the late Willie and Anne Rich.

The family will receive friends at New Grace Baptist Church on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Allen Montgomery will follow in the church sanctuary at 1:00pm.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margie Rich of the home; son, Alan Rich and daughter, Leslie Rich; sister-in-law Audrey Bannette of China Grove; niece, Joyce Ann Bowers of China Grove; and very special friends, Rev. Ronnie and Maxine Sexton.

Arthur was retired from the Navy. Being from California he had made his home in Concord for the past ten years. Arthur proudly served his county in the Navy in the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
