Audran Baucom

Audran "Dick" Baucom, 83, of Concord, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Baucom was born January 24, 1931 to the late Boyce and Gertrude Baucom. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Baucom and one sister, Cecil Baucom. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Sunday February 9, 2014 from 12pm-2pm and the funeral service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Roger Barker. The burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bonnie Haigler Baucom of Concord; son, Stephen Baucom and wife Kathrin of Concord; daughter, Karen Baucom Whitley and husband Mark of Mooresville; grandson, Kris Baucom; three granddaughters, Shana Bourhill and husband David, Denise Whitley Wayne, and Leslie Whitley; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Betty James of Monroe, Rachel Secrest and husband Ivan of Monroe, Barbara Braswell and husband Elton of Monroe, and Frances Ramsey of Monroe; two brothers, Dolan Baucom and wife Lucille of Monroe, and Richard Baucom and wife Joanne of Oakboro. Memorials may be made to The Rock Christian Church, 1005 W.C. Coleman Blvd., Concord, NC 28025. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Baucom family.
