Barbara Kay Eudy

Barbara Kay Eudy , 69, of Oakboro, went home to the Lord Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Barbara was born March 25, 1955, in Oakboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge Eudy and the late Mary Ruth Eudy. 

The funeral service will be on Friday, November 15, 2pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Tab Whitley. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro.

Survivors include daughter, Melisa Renee Morgan of Oakboro, NC and her two granddaughters; Morgan Talyah Williams and Maycee Ashton Williams of Stanfield.

Barbara was a graduate of West Stanly High School and of Stanly Community College. She worked as an IT engineer for Jack Henry, Carolina Cat and Fujitsu. She was also a volunteer at Carolina Raptor Center where she rescued animals that were sick and endangered.

Barbara was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she learned to love the Lord. She loved animals of all kinds, traveling, skiing, golfing, going to Oak Island and embracing life to the fullest. She lived a full and exciting life and always knew how to have a good time. She enjoyed spending time with friends, her daughter and granddaughters. Barbara was so proud of Melisa, Maycee and Morgan (the girls), she always took pride in everything they achieved in life. Her favorite name was "Momma and Mema". She loved her family, friends and the Lord with everything she had.
