Barbara Jean Martin Gant

Barbara Martin Gant, 67, of Midland, NC, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was born September 12th, 1956, to the late David G. Martin and the late Mary L. York Martin.

She was a wonderful wife for 43 years, an amazing mother to her 3 children, and a selfless friend who was always willing to give the best advice especially when it came to her sewing and cooking talents.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Darrel Gant of Midland, NC; son, Eric Gant (Molly) of Portland, ME; daughter, Christi Gant (Molly) of Concord, NC; and daughter, Sami Berry (Jackson) of Midland, NC; along with grandchildren, Aden, Lexi, and Koda; sister, Linda Beaty (Bobby) of Gastonia, NC; and brother, Tommy Martin of Statesville, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Bethel Church, 12700 Idlebrook Road, Midland, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Brackett.
