Barbara Louise Johnson, 84 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Concord Place in Concord.
Barbara was born September 12, 1932 in Estill County Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ora T. Johnson Jr..
The family will receive friends from 10:00am - 11:00am, Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 East W.T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte NC, where services will be held at 11:00am officiated by Reverend John Harrill. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens at 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte.
Survivors include two daughters: Jo Ann Wellman and husband Sherman of Belmont, NC, and Judy Lawrence and husband Kurt of Harrisburg, NC, one son: John Johnson and wife Sandy of Springfield, MO, and three beloved grand daughters: Cindy Lawrence, Stephanie Rivera, and Lauren Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association and Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Plus One Mission Program.
