Barbara Kent

Barbara Jane Kent, 76, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in her home. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Dale Jenkins, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. At other times the family will meet at the home of the son, Jim, 6824 Clara Circle, Concord, NC. Barbara was born on October 12, 1935 to the late Ida May Simpson Logan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron O. Kent. She is survived by four children, Jim Kent and wife, Joy of Concord, Barbara Robenolt of Concord, Ron Kent of Salisbury and Carolyn Robinette and husband, Tim of Gastonia; six grandchildren, Angie, Shannon, Chris, J.P., Chelsea and Timmy; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ida Hardy and husband, Allen of Flat Rock, MI and Marion Park of Charlotte.
