Barbara Ann Lambert, 77 years of age, of Locust, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Barbara was born October 22, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Lloyd Leonard Lambert and the late Estelle Parker Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lambert in 2014; brother, Jim Lambert; and sister, Brenda Lambert.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Friday, July 29, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Locust, 320 South Central Avenue, Locust, NC. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Dr. Tommy Ross will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, Tamara (Tony) Pope of Locust, and Corletta (Cardell) Barbee of Stanfield; son, Sidney (Kim) Lambert of Locust; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Olivia) Lambert, Jr. of New London; and sisters, Carolyn (Davie) Burleson of Albemarle, and Shelby (Gary) Burris of New London.
