Barbara Mccord

Barbara McCord, 55, of Rockwell, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 12 until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm in the chapel, with Rev. Billy Clayton and Rev. Frankie Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord. Ms. McCord was born on February 15, 1958, to the late Carl White and Evelyn Drye White. Barbara worked at Cannon Mills. Then she became a homemaker and a devoted mother to her children. She is survived by her three sons, Paul Berry of Rockwell, Marty Berry of Rockwell and Richard McCord of Monroe; a daughter, Barbara Jean McCord of Pageland; two grandchildren Korina Paige Uemura and Emma Rose Godwin; brother, Jimmy White of Concord.
