Barbara Mccoy

Barbara "Bobbie" Swallen McCoy, 79, of Concord, NC passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Barbara was born August 21, 1940 in Alliance, OH to the late Paul Calvin Swallen and the late Dorothy Amelia Swallen. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Theodore "Ted" McCoy.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly McCoy Jones and husband Andy of Concord, NC; son, Timothy McCoy of Concord, NC; daughter, Elise McCoy Trabucco and husband Steve of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Andrew Jones and wife Madeline, Hamilton Jones, Jack Trabucco, Timmy Jones and Georgia Trabucco; sister, Kathryn Galbraith; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 5 pm, Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10 am, at First Presbyterian Church of Concord, officiated by Rev. Scott Kenefake.  Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, or First Presbyterian Church of Concord.
