Barbara Tomlin

Barbara Caroline Morrison Tomlin, 69, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Barbara was born on February 2, 1943, to the late Andrew Marion Morrison and the late Strauss Elizabeth Wolfe Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Morrison. She is survived by her husband, Allen Henry Tomlin of the home; a son, Allen Tomlin, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Kannapolis; a daughter, Tammy Wall Bailey and her husband Jim of Concord; a stepdaughter, Kathy Sherrill and her husband Wesley of Concord; three sisters, Mamie Watson and Francis Chester of Concord and Irene Moore of Boone; and two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Melissa Sherrill of Concord. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Tomlin family.
