Barry Crooks

Barry Glenn Crooks, 57, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center.

Mr. Crooks was born June 2, 1962 in Broome County, New York to the late Robert Lee Crooks and the late Harriette Powell. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Powell who he cared for until his passing.

Barry was born in upstate New York and moved to North Carolina at a young age to work in construction.  His most recent employer being Wilcox Tractor.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Crooks and Kelly Lee Crooks of Midland; his brothers, Brian Crooks of Charlotte, Mark Crooks of Hawaii and sister, Terri Crooks of New York; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews
