Barry Moose

Barry Mack Moose, 68 , of Concord, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at CMC Northeast, Concord. Mr. Moose was born January 31, 1945 in Concord to the late John Steffie Moose and the late Pearl Safrit Moose. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Herring and Sarah Hammonds. Barry was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church where he was a Sunday School teacher for many years. He worked at Pillow Tex (Field Crest Cannon Mills). Barry loved to care for and raise poultry. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm -3:00pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Concord, with service to follow at 3 pm, officiated by Dr. Mark Ericson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include, 2 sisters, Marie Goodman of Concord; Kate Ritchie and husband Lynn of Concord; 2 brothers, Gene F. Moose and wife Gaynelle of Concord; Charles W. Moose of Concord, and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church at 100 St. John's Church Rd. Concord, NC 28025.
