Belle Dixon

Belle Walter Dixon, 88, of 2296 Heglar Rd., Concord, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009, at Transitional Healthcare in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with the Rev. Randy Wall officiating. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home.
Mrs. Dixon was born April 24, 1921, in Cabarrus County, to the late Arthur Columbus Walter and the late Daisy Belle Tucker Walter. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cleveland Dixon; brothers, Otha Walter and Frank Walter; and sisters, Ruby Krimminger, Hazel Owens, Breecie Tally and Dora Tally.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Dixon Church; brother, Tony Walter; and sister, Florence Tally, all of Concord; granddaughter, Sherri Church Hannah and husband, Billy of Charleston, SC; and great-grandchildren, Elysabeth, Nataani Belle, and Alexandra Grace Hannah.
