Benjamin Eugene Russell, 29 years of age, of Norwood, had his gentle soul returned to Jesus on Sunday, August 16, 2015.
Benjamin was born August 5, 1986 in Stanly County, North Carolina to Stephen Lyn Russell and Karen Webster Russell of Norwood
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ben and wife Elizabeth Russell, William Eugene Webster and wife Opal, one uncle Roddy Russell.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will be on Friday at 3:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Jeremy Blake. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors in addition to his parents are brother, Roddy Russell and fiancé Molly Whitley of Norwood, brother, Seth Russell and wife Ashley, niece, Payton Riley Russell.
Benjamin worked for Rusco Fixtures, which is family owned and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
