Bernice Lemons

Bernice Catherine Farlow Lemons, age 93, of Badin, NC passed away on January 15, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center – North East. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m at Badin United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Badin United Methodist Church. The burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle, NC at 3:30 p.m. At other times the family will meet at her home. Mrs. Lemons was born on September 18, 1918, to the late Lewis Lee Farlow and the late Sutie Blanche Ward Farlow, she was also preceded in death by her husband William Gilmer Lemons Jr. in 2001. She is survived by her son, Greg Lemons and wife Mary of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Linda Schenholm of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Steve Lemons and wife Marcie, Kurt Schenholm Jr. and wife Lydia, Heather Donahoo and husband Wes, Stacey Smith and husband Brandon; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Max Farlow of Sophia, NC; Lewis Farlow of Jamestown, NC; sisters, Mary Wicker of Franklinville, NC; Phyllis Bell of Asheboro, NC.
