Bernice Mcfarland

Bernice Larry McFarland, 85, of Charlotte, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Hunter Woods Nursing Rehab in Charlotte.

Bernice was born March 21, 1935 in Darlington County, SC to the late Nathaniel Larry and the late Fronzlee Wilkins Larry.

She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Lucille Williams and Barbara McFarland; her siblings, Hayward Larry, James Larry, Brice Edward Larry, Roosevelt Larry, and Nathaniel Larry Jr.; her grandson, Donald D'Angelo Dixon.

Survivors include her children; Todd McFarland, Twana Howard and Karen Barrier; Her siblings Mary Jackson, Ruth Kearney, Penny Isaac, Marie Cooper, Meta Ann McClain, John Larry, and Charles Larry.  She also leaves her fond memories with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bernice loved fishing, gardening, and baking her famous biscuits.

A graveside funeral service to honor her life will be at 10:00 am on Monday, July 27th at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 1504 W. Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte, officiated by Don Burleyson.
