Berrel Gray

Berrel Riley Gray, 93, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle, NC.

Mrs. Gray was born July 21, 1926 in Hillsbourgh, NC to the late Alexander Riley and the late Novella Watkins Riley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Herbert Bennett Gray, Jr; son, Herbert Bennett Gray, III; grandson, Robert Michael Gore; and twelve siblings.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church, 873 Pee Dee Avenue in Norwood, NC. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Survivors include son, Gary Gray and fiancée Patti Holt Boles of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Colean Gore and husband Randy of Bahama, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan Gore of Asheville, NC, Daniel Riley Gray and wife Cara Jean of St. Simons, GA, and Taylor Bennett Gray and wife Allison of Creedmoor; NC and eleven great-grandchildren.
