Bessie Harris

Bessie Bost Harris, 83 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mrs. Harris was born March 18, 1934 to the late John and Lydia Bost. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Bessie retired from Walmart after many years of service, but will best be remembered as a woman of faith that enjoyed spending many hours reading her bible. She was also a member of the Norwood Church of the Nazarene.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Mt. Gilead, officiated by Rev. Dottie King and Rev. Buster Green.. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at 657 Liberty HIll Road, Mt. Gilead.

Survivors include; husband, Johnie Melvin Harris; sons, Mickey T. Bost, Sr. and wife Linda, Benny Harris; daughters, Frankie Harris Biles and husband Todd, Sr., Marie Harris Hill and husband Larry; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; sister, Maudie Bost.

Memorials may be made to Norwood Church of Nazarene, 424 Flynn Rd. Norwood, NC. 28128
