Bettie LaRue Staley Martin

Bettie LaRue Martin, 97, of Concord, NC, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC. 

Bettie was born July 30, 1926, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to the late William Staley and the late Violet Staley. She was also preceded in death by brother, Ferl Staley, brother, Walter Staley, sister, Ruth Snedden. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Martin, brother Larry Staley and wife Brenda, nephew Douglas Snedden his wife Jasbeidiq and their two boys Dylan and Kevin. 

A graveside inurnment will be held at a later date at St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery in Concord. 

Memorials may be made to Brookdale Memory Center 919 Fitzgerald St Monroe, NC 28112 in Bettie’s name.
