Betty Cranford

Betty Jean Blackwelder Cranford, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, at her home in Concord.

Betty was born January 17, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late Albert Jerome Blackwelder and the late Cora McCall Blackwelder. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Floyd, Lawrence, Fred, Willis (Wick) and Albert J. (June) Blackwelder; and sister, Faye Blackwelder Biggers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 31, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 1, at 11:00 am at Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, officiated by Rev. B. Scott Davis. Burial will follow at the Pitts Baptist Church Cemetery, 140 Pitts School Road NW, Concord.

Survivors include husband, Glenn Parks Cranford of Concord; sons, Stanley Jerome Cranford and wife Debbie of Concord, Gregory Lane Cranford and wife Jan of Harrisburg, and Phillip Wayne Cranford and wife Joanne of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Mandy Eudy, Lorianne Cranford, Nathan Cranford and Daniel Cranford; great grandchildren, Jakob Eudy, Morgan Eudy, Aubrey Cranford and Hailey Cranford; sister, Leona Blackwelder Pressley; and numerous nephews and nieces.
