Betty Dry

Betty Jean Lefler Dry, age 77 of Albemarle, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on March 02, ?2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. The family will receive friends at her home, Sunday March 6, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Born in, Stanly County on December 25,1933, she was the daughter of the late Houston Alexander and Lula Idabelle Sides Lefler. Mrs. Betty Dry was also preceded in death by her husband Winfred Lee Dry; one stepson Charles Robert Dry; one brother, Robert “Bob” Lefler, and one sister, Lillian Lisk. Mrs. Betty Dry is survived by her daughter, Susan Dry of Albemarle; two stepdaughters; Winnifred Goforth of Surfside Beach, SC, Patricia Aaron of Norwood; two sisters, Joyce Roberson and Ramelle Burleson both of Albemarle; four grandchildren, Derek, David, Ansley, and Jennifer, and three great-grandchildren.
