Betty Faggart

Betty Jean Faggart, 90, of 3746 Cline School Road, Concord, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022.

Betty was born on April 13, 1931, to the late Roy Safrit and Lucy (Johnson) Safrit in Concord, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John H. Faggart, Sr. and her son, Eddie R. Faggart.

Betty was a homemaker most of her life. She also worked outside of the home at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School cafeteria, Tasty Pastry and Bangle Brothers.  She was a graduate of Concord High School. She was a charter member of White Park Baptist Church which later became Royal Grace Bible Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and secretary.  She devoted her life to her family, friends and church. Special love goes to Linda and Bob Wilson and Keith Manus and family.  Most of all, Betty loved and served the Lord.

Betty is survived by her loving children, son, John H Faggart, Jr. and his wife, Paula, of Concord and daughter, Trudie Duke and her husband,Ed, of Concord. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Betty will lie in state on Friday March 11 from 1:30pm to 4pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 am, at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC, with Brother Perry Lemmons officiating.
