Betty Gibson

Betty Sue Gibson, 65 years of age, of Concord, went to her Home in Heaven, Friday, June 9, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.

Betty was born July 13, 1951 in Cabarrus County to the late Johnny Thomas Morgan and the late Mary Louise Morgan. She was also preceded in death by brother, Bill Morgan.

The family will receive friends at Broadus Baptist Church in Concord from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry, will begin at 3:00pm in the church sanctuary.

Survivors include son, Philip (Cari) Gibson of Harrisburg; daughter, Morgan (Noe) Hernandez of Kannapolis; five siblings, Peggy Allmon, Brenda Hopkins, Johnny Morgan, Linda Bullaboy, and Jim Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and one grand-rabbit, Snickers.

Betty didn't just walk, she RAN to be with Jesus. She was a mother to many, friend to all, and most of all, a witness for Jesus.
