Betty Hartsell

Betty Sue Hagler Hartsell, 74 years of age, of Midland, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Betty was born August 30, 1943 in Charlotte, NC to the late Lester Henry Hagler and the late Etta Mae Fink Hagler.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Jefferson Hartsell; daughter Teresa Annette Cook Clement; as well as brothers, Zeb Vance Lambert and David William Lambert.

Survivors include her son, James "Buster" Franklin Cook; son-in-law, Dan F. Clement; as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Community Baptist Church in Locust officiated by Pastor Ronnie Simpson and Pastor Tim Kendall. Burial will follow at the Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
