Betty Hill

Betty Love Clontz Hill, 82 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Woodridge Assisted Living in Monroe. Mrs. Hill was born January 26, 1931 in Mecklenburg County to the late Clarence Clontz and the late Lottie Stillwell Clontz. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Curtis Chapman Hill, Jr., in May of this year. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 7608 Concord Hwy., Monroe, officiated by Elder Charles Broadway and Rev. Dr. Ken Thomas. Survivors include her brother, Gary Clontz of Mint Hill; her sister, Polly C. Knight of Indian Trail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
