Betty Hinson

Betty Ritchie Hinson, age 73 of 708 Parker Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on December 09, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home on Friday, December 10 from 6-8 PM. At other times the family will receive friends at the home. She was born in Stanly County NC on March 01, 1937 to the late Sidney and Margaret Ritchie. Betty Hinson was preceded in death by her sons, Terry Sells and Danny Sells; her daughter Anita Sells; and her sisters, Peggy Bagwell, and Jane Galloway. Betty Hinson was survived by her son, Gary Sells Jr. and wife Marie of Albemarle; her daughters, Rhoda Coley and special friends Ron Hatley and Jason Moxley of Albemarle, Angie Lee and grandson Tyler of Albemarle, Darlene Griffin of Lexington; her brother, Tommy Ritchie; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Hartsell; her sister, Sheila Reeves; special friend, Cecil Furr; fourteen grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hinson family.
