Betty Howie

Mrs. Betty Sue Fields Howie, 77, formerly of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at CMC NorthEast. She was born on December 5, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late R.D. and Larue Mitchell Fields. A visitation will be held at Rocky River Presbyterian Church, 7940 Rocky River Road, Concord on Saturday from 9:30 until 11:00. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Kyle Hite officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Claude Ray Howie and two sons, Claude Ray Howie, Jr. and Timothy Zeke Howie. She is survived by her son, John T. Howie, of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Casey, Alison, Robert, Cynthia, Christopher, and Cassandra. Memorials may be made to the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 7940 Rocky River Road, Concord, NC 28025.
