Betty Justice

Betty Helms Justice, 82 years of age, of Midland, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Avante in Concord.

She was born February 13, 1933 in Mecklenburg County to the late William Randolph Helms and the late Lois Helms.
Betty was also preceded in death by her husband James "Pete" Justice in 1983; her son Steve Love; sisters Judy Gurley and Hattie Thompson; as well as brother Lee Helms.

Survivors include daughter Judy Huneycutt and husband Ed of Troy; daughter Rita Zimmerle and husband Jimmy of Stanfield; daughter Becky Stokes of Kannapolis; brother William Helms and wife Ada of Kannapolis; sister Barbara Huneycutt and husband Leonard of Concord; as well as nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday, April 13, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Dallas Pressley and her grandson Rev. John Huneycutt. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 100 Pine Grove Church Rd., Concord.
