Betty Lands

Betty Jean Lands, 89, of Stanfield, passed away in the care of loved ones  Monday, December 6, 2021.

Betty was born December 14, 1931 in McDowell County to the late George Raymond Roland and Mollie Ethel Roland. She was also preceded in death by husband, Bobby Lee Lands, Sr.; son, Bobby Lee Lands, Jr.; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.

She was a doting wife and mother, a caretaker to her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her last minute trips to the mountains and the beach. Loved it so much wanted to live at the beach. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by many.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Survivors include daughter, Angela Lee (Darin) Davis of Stanfield, NC, granddaughters,Brandi (Jason) Williams, Noel (Jerry) Pierce, and Amanda (Aaron) Helms; great-grandchildren, Destiny Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Calista Pierce, Lily Pierce, Alyssa Williams, and Molly Helms; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
