Betty Little

Betty Sue Huneycutt Little, 70, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Betty was born September 24, 1943, in Stanly County to the late Charlie and Katie Huneycutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Delma Little, in 1985. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Blake and Rev. Jerry Mabry, will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Albemarle. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, Hwy 138, Albemarle, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Collins and husband, Jay, of Florence, SC; step brothers, Tommy and John Rogers of Albemarle; brother in law, Joel Plowman of Salisbury and sister in law, Debbie Cranford of Albemarle.
