Betty Paige

Betty H. Paige, 75 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Betty was born on November 17, 1941 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Walter Hagans Sr. and Julia Hagans. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Earl and Walter Hagans, Jr and sisters, Elizabeth Shirley and Linda Knotts.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, August 14, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 644 Edgemont St. in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in the church at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Delane Burris . Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Boyd Lee Paige of Albemarle, son, David Lee Paige of Albemarle, daughter Penny Paige Patrick and husband James and one grandson, Jay Patrick.

Betty was a member of Grace Baptist Church and had retired from the Stanly County School System as the food supervisor.
