Betty Peck

Betty Furr Peck passed away August 27,2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. She was born January 19, 1921 in Stanly County. Her visitation will be Sunday August 30, 2009 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Monday, August 31,2009 at First Lutheran Church of Albemarle at 2 p.m. Rev. John Futterer officating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. She participated in activities at the Senior Center and was in Women's Auxiliary at Stanly Regional. She enjoyed taking arts and crafts classes and loved to garden and shop. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by son, James Peck and wife Terry Peck of Albemarle; daughters, Pamela Peck of Rockwell; Kathy Peck and husband Jeffrey T. Barach, Sr of Oakton, Va, Grandchildren, Jeffrey T. Barach,Jr; Shelly Mills, Brandy Peck, Jacqui Peck, Amber Peck and great grandchildren, Trevor, Jacob and Bailey Speights. She was preceded in death by husband; James Eugene Peck, Sr. and father and mother, Alonzo Furr and Bertha Hathcock Furr. Memorials may be made to: First Lutheran Church, 230 S.
