Betty Estelle Harkey Price, age 68 of 24671 Ridgecrest Road, Locust, NC passed away on March 30, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Services will be held at a later date. Born Cabarrus County, NC on October 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Fish Harkey and the late Lessie Mae Page. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Morton and brothers LeRoy Cavender and Otis Cavender. She is survived by brothers; Ronald Harkey, Walker Harkey and Jessie Harkey all of Midland and Jack Everhardt of Monroe; and sisters, Lucille Furr of Midland and Margaret Simmons of Salisbury.
