Betty Robins

Betty Jean McMehan Robins, 81 years of age, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home in Harrisburg. Mrs. Robins was born December 8, 1930 to the late Woodrow Wilson McMehan and the late Edna Otessa Thompson McMehan. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m., Monday, March 19 at Covenant Church of Harrisburg. The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m., officiated by Rev. Charles Efird and Rev. David Hix. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Everette Alexander Robins, of the home; her son, Tony Robins and his wife, Lorinda, of Union, SC; her daughter, Bobbie Jo Greene of Concord; her sister, Judy Keziah, of Monroe; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Robins family.
