Betty Stewart

Betty Jean Barbee Stewart, 75, of 340 Cliffwood Street NW Concord passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2011 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Roy William and Eva Idell Furr Barbee. She worked for C&A in Charlotte as a key punch operator. The family meeting place will be at the home. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, George Richard Stewart of the home; daughter, Donna Stewart Taylor of Concord; brother, Frank Barbee of Kannapolis; sisters, Irene Campbell of Concord; Wilma Clontz of Midland; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
