Betty Thompson

Betty Agnes Thompson, 93, of Concord, NC, formerly of Rockville Pike, MD passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Morningside Assisted Living in Concord.

Betty was born July 1, 1926 in Burkes Garden, VA to the late William C. Thompson and the late Ruth O. Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers George, Calvin and Howard; and sister Alma.

Survivors include her brothers Randolph and Lenden (Doris) Thompson; niece and caretaker Edna Nanette Thompson of Concord, NC; nephew Walter Randolph (Christy) Thompson; niece Dorothea Ruth Dunford; nephew Tony Thompson; as well as other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Morningside Assisted Living, 500 Penny Lane, Concord, NC at a later date.  A private graveside service at the family cemetery in Burkes Garden, VA will also be held at a later date.
