Betty Watts

Betty Jean Watts, 90, of Concord, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her residence in Concord.

Mrs. Watts was born October 14, 1931 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Lynn Eugene Plott and the late Mary Eudy Plott.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Otis Crawford Watts and daughter, Janice Dean Jones.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 12:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord in Concord and be officiated by Reverend Roger Bostic . Entombment will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include son, Danny Lynn Watts (Penny) of Concord, daughter , Arron Fleming of Kannapolis, NC. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
